Donald Duckhooks Peach Gets Knicked
Hi boys, today’s forum question is from Donald Duckhook. Donald writes: “I was playing a Par 3 and hit a little peach of a shot about 6 feet from the pin. When we were still on the tee, this little whipper snapper ran onto the green and did a runner with my ball. It was about 200 yards away so we couldn’t do anything. How should I have proceeded?
Don, firstly, I’m glad you didn’t quack it. In this case, you would place a new ball as near to the spot as possible without penalty. This applies for any outside agency such as young whipper snappers, birds, dogs and the like. Next time, tee another one up and hit a stinger right at the little bugger!
