Failing that or if you’re not a member of a club then make the call yourself. Be very polite, and if you’re feeling a bit sneeky you might want to tell a fib that you’re interested in buying a membership. If you want to be 100% honest just tell them straight up that you’d really like to play the course and many times the Pro or club manager will answer in the positive. Of course, should you be granted playing temporary playing privileges then respect the club rules and dress nicely. It might not be the time to show up in your pink Jesper Parnevik outfit. Only all but the most exclusive golf clubs you should have a good chance if you play your cards right.
