How to talk trash on the golf course golf video
Charles Barkley said Tiger is the King of trash talk on the golf course but added that it’s not really trash talk if you can back it up. So if you’ve got the game, here’s three of the best trash talk lines you can use on your golfing buddies to mess with their game:
Ok, number 1: You’ve just hit a monster drive, out-driving your opponent by over 30 yards. As you’re walking up to your balls you casually ask “Did you see where they’re opening the biggest Walmart in history”. Your opponent will ask where, and you reply “Right here, between my ball and yours”.
Number 2: Your opponents playing out of his skin. He’s birdied or parred the last 3 holes, depending on how good he is, and you know he doesn’t usually play like this. You only need to say a few words to stem the tide and get back in the match. Just politely mention how nice he’s playing and that if he keeps playing like this he might beat his personal best score. This is almost certain to get him thinking and start the bogey-train
Number 3.This is another one to mess with your opponents mind if they’re playing a little too good for your liking. Mention something like “You have a nice swing, can I ask you what do you focus on when beginning your down swing?” or if you want to be a little more nasty “You know, your clubface is so closed at the top of your backswing, but you do a great job to square it back up at impact”. They will hit it all over the golf course for the rest of the round.
Try those lines and remember, it’s not trash talk if you can back it up. Saying any one of those lines then shanking 100 yards off target will get you the nickname Rory Sabbitini.
