How to become a ready golfer golf video
Slow play is one of the most complained about subjects in golf and can ruin your round if you happen to get stuck behind a group of slow players. Here’s a few tips on how you can speed up play and be a “ready golfer” so you can have more time to watch our golf videos online
1/ Walk to your ball whenever possible. Don’t stand and watch other players play their shots, go straight to your ball and get ready to hit
2/ if you’re riding and its cart paths only take plenty of clubs. There’s nothing worse than going back for another club or trying to play a shot you know should be played with another club.
3/ One practice swing is enough. Sometimes it seems the worse the player the more practice swings they take. Seeing someone take 10 practice swings only to chunk it 20 yards is more frustrating than leaving a 3 footer short. Don’t be one of those players
4/ Go with your first choice. It will almost always be the right one
5/ be ready to hit as soon its safe to do so. You should have chosen your club, selected the shot you’re going to play all while you’re waiting on the group in front
6/ Hit when ready. If your playing partners are 20 yards back in the fairway having a conversation about which tea pot cosy is more aesthetically pleasing, go and head an hit your shot
Follow these tips and you’ll never be tagged as a slow player ever again and have more time to watch golf videos
