Auric Golffinger Rules of Golf Video

Today Auric Golffinger writes: ”Me and my long time nemesis Jimmy were playing a round. The match went down to the wire and on 18 Jimmy left his putt in the jaws. He went to the hole and jumped up and down and then the ball fell in the hole. Surely that can’t be legal?

Auric, you’re right, Jimmie must have been a bit shaken. If the ball was at rest he incurs a one-shot penalty or loss of hole in match play and must replace the ball. But, if the ball didn’t move, there would have been no penalty.

Chad Homo's Tree Troubles

Sawasdee Ka, today we have a question from Chad Homo. Chad asks:” I was distracted by a real hunk when at the 100 yard marker. Because of this I skanked my 3 iron up a tree. When I got to the tree I could see a ball but wasn’t sure if it was mine. What is the ruling?

Chad, we too have been distracted by hunks, but not while holding a 3 iron at the 100 yard marker. If you couldn’t identify the ball as yours, then you must declare it lost. If you somehow identified it, then you could take an unplayable lie. Hope you had luck with the hunk!

Billy Oceans Carribean Queen Golf Rules Question

Sawasdee Ka, here’s what Billy Ocean wrote to us today: “I was playing the other day with a real beauty from the West Indies and it was my turn to hit. I was driving a cart and was a bit tipsy and I ran over my ball and moved it. Was that a penalty shot?

Billy, the girl who you were playing with sounds like a real carribean queen. Anyway, to answer your questions, yes, that’s a penalty shot. However, if your beauty had been driving she would have been penalized. The cart is considered your equipment.

Donald Duckhooks Peach Gets Knicked

Hi boys, today’s forum question is from Donald Duckhook. Donald writes: “I was playing a Par 3 and hit a little peach of a shot about 6 feet from the pin. When we were still on the tee, this little whipper snapper ran onto the green and did a runner with my ball. It was about 200 yards away so we couldn’t do anything. How should I have proceeded?

Don, firstly, I’m glad you didn’t quack it. In this case, you would place a new ball as near to the spot as possible without penalty. This applies for any outside agency such as young whipper snappers, birds, dogs and the like. Next time, tee another one up and hit a stinger right at the little bugger!

Scooby Doo Touches Long Grass in Hazard

Hey there, time for one more question from Scooby Doo. Scooby asks: “I hit my ball in the hazard and while taking a practice swing I hit some long grass. I know you can’t ground your club so should I have penalized myself?

Scooby, even though your movie flopped, we’re happy to help you out. As long as you didn’t improve your lie or intentionally test the condition of the hazard, you were sweet, and didn’t incur any penalty. Now go and eat some ramburgers Scooby!

Flippers Root Probing Rules of Golf Question

Ok guys, today we have another doozy for you. Flipper the Dolphin apparently plays golf and has written to us: “My buddy nemo hit his ball under a tree. Nemo’s a bit of a care freak and was scared he there were roots near his ball so he probed the ground using a tee. Couldn’t thi be considered improving or altering your lie?

Firstly, where you been all these years Flipper? Anyway, probing for roots is totally within the rules if there is a reasonable possibility there are roots around. If there is this possibility then you just have to make sure you don’t improve your lie, area of intended swing or line of play. Rock on Flipper. Peace to all golf video buffs.

Danger Mouse Golf Video Transcript

We have an email from former golf video buff Danger Mouse who has written: “I was under a tree and swung back to hit my shot but broke a branch. I them stopped my swing and realized that maybe I had done a boo-boo. If I had continued my swing there would have been no penalty right?

Danger Mouse, nice to hear you are still around. Yes, you’re right, because you stopped, you are deemed to have improved the area of your swing. If you had gone and ahead and completed your swing you would have been sweet. It’s just bad luck Danger!

Pudd Caddie Uses X-Outs

Here’s an email from Puff Caddie: “Yo Stacy, I’m hurting for benjamins right now and have been buying X-Out golf balls. Are these rocks legal coz me pimp say they not and I don’t wanna be breaking any rulz”

Puff, unless a tournament specifically has a list of confirming golf balls, your X out golf ball is fine. There would need to be strong evidence to suggest the X out you are using does not conform in order for it not be allowed.

Celine One-on Golf Video Transcript

Hi guys, Celine One-on writes this email: “I heard that Tiger almost ran out of balls in the 2000 US Open. His caddie Steve Williams said they would have been disqualified but I don’t reckon Stevie knows the rules properly. Am I right?

Well yes Celine, the rules state that while you can’t borrow clubs, you can borrow golf balls and things like towels and tees. So yes, Stevie was kind of wrong, but if Tiger was to borrow balls, they would have had to have been the same make.

Uma G.U.Rman Ball Stolen Golf Video

Today we have an unusual question from Uma Gurman. Uma writes: “I was going real low and had just striped a drive down the middle of the fairway. When I walked up to my ball a glorious eagle flew over and dumped one on my ball. I wanted to clean it off but was unsure if this was possible under the rules”

Uma, anything stuck to the ball is not a loose impediment and you can’t remove it. This applies to grass, any kind of poop but not insects. So if a fly lands on your ball you can shoo him off as long as you don’t move your ball.

Brad Putt Doesn't Like To Get Wet

Hey there, todays question might get you! Brad Putt tells us: “Hi Slice Girls, I enjoy your babel. Yesterday me and Angelina were playing in the rain. I had a tap in and while holding my umbrella I knocked the ball in the hole. Angelina said I couldn’t do this and we haven’t spoke since. Please help rescue our marriage and clear this up for us!”

Brad baby, you are allowed to do that. There is a rule that states you can’t accept protection from the elements from someone other than yourself, but nothing about protecting yourself. Tell Angelina to apologise. The Slice Girls golf video presenters think she’s a bit of a tart anyway!

Winona RyderCup Gets Cocky

This email is from Winona Rydercup who aks: “My friend is a bit of a show off. She had about a two footer and she used the grip end of the putter to sink the ball. She told me this was ok and I couldn’t argue because I don’t really know the rules. Can you tell me if she was right?

Winona, this is illegal. You must strike the ball with the head of the club, and the grip obviously isn’t the head of the club. You need to bring your friend down to size coz her actions ain’t right girl!

Daffy Duckhook Late For Tee Time

Here’s one for all you players who like to be late. It’s from Daffy Duckhook I was playing in my local club championship and decided to go for a few drinks before my final round to loosen up. Problem is, I got challenged on the dance floor and ended up going home at 4 in the morning and showed up on tee at 9:00:34 seconds. My tee time was 9:00. They told me I was penalized two shots. How can this be?

Daffy, the rule states that you need to be present and ready to play at exactly 9:00a.m, not a second after. Aaron Baddely was penalized when he showed up 40 seconds late for his tee time at the 2003 PGA Championship. It’s very simply Daffy – don’t be late for your tee time of for our golf videos!

Maria Sharaoverar Rules of Golf Video

Hey guys, today we have another interesting rules question from Maria Shara-ovapar who writes: “I was playing my first round of golf and I topped the ball so badly it hopped up in the air. I was so angry, I took a swing at it in disgust when it popped up. My friend Serena said because I had taken a swing at it I should count it as a stroke. Is that true?

Thanks for your email Maria. A swing in anger is not an intention to hit the ball. However, if you had hit the ball accidentally, you would have been penalized two strokes. Perhaps you should learn to control your anger on the course yeah?!

Mick Hacker Rules of Golf Video Transcript

Sawasdee Ka, today Mick Hacker asks “My buddie Keith and I were getting some satisfaction on the course when he rubbed his ball on the green to get wild horse poo off it. I told him that could be considered testing the putting surface and I wanted to penalize him. He just told me I cant always get what I want and made the putt from 50 feet. Who was right?

Well Mick, unless he was intending to test the surface, then he can clean his ball on the green. To avoid any misunderstanding, I simply suggest you use other methods for cleaning your balls. Perhaps you could even lick your balls to clean them as this would be clear what you’re doing.

The Old Walrus Trick

Hi boys. Robert Denearhole writes the following: “My ball was below a tree and I had to kneel on the ground to play my shot. The ground was wet so I used my towel to kneel on as I had to meet the parents after my round and didn’t want to get my pants dirty. After the round my mate Benny said I couldn’t do that. Is that true? PS I'm gonna upload my golf swing video, can you examine me?!

Robert, benny is right and he’s a good fella for telling you. This is also considered building a stance. Craig Stadler was disqualified for doing this at Torrey Pines a few years back but was invited back to cut down the tree! Even the Pro’s get it wrong sometimes Robert!

Leonardo Intheholeio Rules Golf Video

Hello handsome, todays rules question is from golf video critic Leonardo Intheholeio. Leonardo asks:”A few rounds ago my ball got stuck in a tree. I used my golf cart so I could reach it and hit an absolute peach of a shot that landed a few feet from the pin but then I remembered some rule about building a stance. Was what I did ok?

Leo, that sounds like a titanic of a golf shot you hit, but unfortunately you can’t do that. You were right, Rule 13-3 says that you can’t build a stance and using the golf cart would be considered building a stance. Next time, try climbing the tree and your shot would count!

Turd Burglar Almost Lays A Submarine While Playing Golf

Sawasdee Ka, Mr. Turd Burglar has an interesting question for us today: “During my last round I had a bad case of the runs and played out of turn so I could finish the hole and get some relief. When I came to the next tee my fellow competitor said I was disqualified because I played out of turn. What’s the deal with that? Ps. Your Golf Videos are money.

Turd, we hope you made it to safety and didn’t have any accidents. There is no penalty unless the committee decides that it was giving you an advantage, in which case you might have been disqualified. In this situation, we think you would be ok, and definitely chose the right decision!

Hitting Range Balls Golf Question

Hi guys, today we have an email from Billy Wannamaker. Here’s what Billy has to say:
“Dear Stacy, Will you marry me? I’m a simple man with complex looks. Please consider my proposal because you and I were together in a previous golf video life. Anyway, I digress. During my last round I saw some stray range balls on the course. I flicked them back onto the range with my club. Is this allowed?

Billy, a casual flicking of the range balls to tidy up the course is not a breach. There are some times when it might be considered against the rules, but if you were just doing as you say, casually flicking them back, then you didn’t do anything wrong. Now about your marriage proposal, watch all our golf videos and we'll consider it.

Out of Bounds Golf Video Series Rules Tip

Today Michael Golfshumacher has the following question: “Guten Tag Slice Girls, I’m playing a lot of golf these days. The other day an Out of Bounds stake was interfering with my swing. I took it out and played my shot and Alonso, my opponent, told me I was cheating again. Can you give me some advice on this?

Michael, I’m sorry to say but you can’t do that. Objects defining out of bounds are fixed and this is a breach of the rules. Penelope Penalty has gladly assessed you a two-stroke penalty. It’s a hairpin decision but it has to be made!

Twenty Cent Golf Video Tip

Hi guys, I have a very popular question here from Twenty Cent. Twenty asks: “I was teeing it up ready to hit a real show-topping drive but when the ball was on the tee, I pressed some grass down behind it because it was cramping my style. Me homeboy said that wasn’t dope and accused me of cheating. What’s the rule?

Well Twenty, your homeboy ain’t dope. You can press down or break off any grass when you are on the teeing ground. This is rule 13-2. I hope that homeboy wasn’t your best friend because he don’t know squat about the rules of golf! Bye for now!

Loose Impediment in Bunker Rule of Golf Video Transcript

Sawasdee Ka, I was excited to get this email from Tom Shanks (Golf Video Pervert) who writes: “Hi Slice Girls, I was walking the streets of Philadelphia and I remembered a golf story which happened to me a long time ago. I hit my ball in a bunker and when I came up to the bunker I accidentally kicked a pine cone into it, which wasn’t near my ball. I picked it up and threw it out, then though this might have been against the rules. Am I right?

Well Tom, you are right, this was wrong. The pine cone is something called a loose impediment, and you can’t remove loose impediments from hazards. The penalty is loss of hole in match play and a two shot penalty in stroke play. In general, the only thing you can remove from a bunker is a rake.

Rules of Golf Movie Script

This week our very own Jessica Albatross had an interesting scenario. She wrote: “I hit my ball in the bunker. When I was walking into the bunker, I lost my balance and had to ground my club in the bunker to stop me from falling A over T. Of course, my playing partner insisted that was illegal because you can’t ground your club in a hazard, but it was accident and I’m thinking there must be some rule, especially for a hottie like me.

Excellent question Jessica. This is legal, you may use your club to prevent falling, unless you were also trying to test the condition of the hazard, or improve the lie of your ball. We definitely wouldn’t want you to fall over and get yourself all dirty, so you were ok to do what you did! Now go check out more of our golf videos...

Accidently Knocked Ball Off Tee Golf Video Transcript

Hi again, did you miss me?! I missed you! Today we have an email form Britney Spareball who asks: ”Yesterday I was playing with some cat and when I set up to the ball on the tee I accidentally knocked it off. He insisted that I count the stroke and we ended up in a full on fisty cuff. Who was right?

Crickey Dick! This seems to be a common misconception. When playing from the tee, the ball is not yet in play, so if you accidentally knock it off, there’s no penalty, and you can re-tee it. Next time some wise guy pipes up “One” when that happens, open the rule book on him and hit him one more time.

Snoop Dogleg Rules of Golf Video Transcript

Sawasdee Ka, Mr. Snoop Dogleg writes an interesting email: “Dear Slice Girls, firstly you are all fine and golf is now more popular than drive-by shootings in me hood. Now, me dawg G be actin a fool every time he holes out. Like he getting jiggy with some fine booty. Other than busta cap in him, what can I do?

Well Snoop, this falls under golf etiquette. But only a committee can disqualify someone for acting a fool and breaching golf etiquette. There’s nothing illegal about what your dog is doing so just turn on some 2pac and or go watch some of our golf videos.

Wayne Kerr Rules of Golf Video Script

Hi Guys, how are you doing today? We have a great question here from Mr. Wayne Kerr who writes: “I’m a player, and I don’t mean hater. My buddy is always asking me for advice on the course. We have a tournament coming up and I know he will be asking for some tips. Is this allowed?

Wayne Kerr, you can’t give or ask for advice from anybody but your caddie or partner. This means that unless you are playing a team event, you won’t be able to give any advice. Even if he asks you what club you used, it’s a two shot penalty. Just make sure your buddy knows or you might get in trouble.

Phil McCracken Golf Movie

This weeks rules of golf video question comes from Mr. Phil McCracken who writes: “I was out playing with some homies last week when one of them clearly hit a ball into a water hazard and then tried to hit a provisional. I knew something was wrong but I didn’t know the exact ruling so couldn’t say anything."

Thanks Phil, this is a common rule abused by mainly amateurs. You can’t play a provisional because you think your ball might be lost in a water hazard. If you do, you HAVE to play that ball and you’ve got yourself a one shot penalty. Penelope Penalty brings the hammer down hard on people like that.

Tai Mi Shu Rules of Golf Video Script

Sawasdee Ka, We have our first email from China from Mr. Tai Mi Shu who writes “Hello Slice Girls, I Tai Mi Shu, have question. Last a time I play a golf, I chipping. Dog come take my ball when it going in hole. He look tasty but he run away before I catch him. What I do?

Well Tai, we’re glad you didn’t catch him. If you were off the green, you just put your ball back on the spot where the dog took it. It’s just bad luck if the ball was going in the hole. If you were on the green, you just replay the shot from the same place you played it from. We’ll be sure to keep Bucky and Lucky away from you if you’re ever in Bangkok!

Barefoot Golf Video Transcript

Hi guys, this weeks question comes from Ben Dover. Ben wants to know: “I have a golf buddie who likes to play in bare feet. We get stares from the members and I’m wondering if it’s legal to play in barefoot?”

Yo Benny, I hate to tell you, but there are no rules that say you can’t play in barefeet. Some clubs may have rules, but if not, then there’s not much you can do. Just try not to let it ruin your own game ok?

Wiff Shot Golf Video Transcript

Hi Guys, I have an email here from Mr. Scott Free who asks: “I fancy myself as a Pro, but during my last round I got a little confident and whiffed my driver. Does this count as a stroke coz I didn’t actually move the ball?”

Well Scotty, I’m sorry to say it does count as a stroke. It doesn’t matter if you moved it or not. Any stroke that you INTEND to hit the ball with counts. And oh - I’d think twice about being a Pro if you’re still whiffing it.

More Than 14 Golf Clubs Rules Video Transcript

Mr. Evan Elpus asks a humdinger this week: ”Wut up Slice Girls? Last week I was letting the big dog eat and on the 5th hole I found out I had 15 clubs in my bag. Me homie who I was playing wit told me I was to be DQ’d, but I waz not sure if he be pullin’ me leg. What’s the deal?

Thanks for your question Evan. In strokeplay, you would have been penalized 4 strokes. You get penalized two strokes for every hole you have more than 14 clubs on your bag, up to a maximum of 4 strokes per round. If you find out after your round then you would be DQ’d, as your homie told you. So make sure you check your clubs everytime you play!

Ball Played from Outside Teeing Ground Video Transcript

Hi guys, Harry Beaver wrote to us with this email: “Me and my bitch were playing matchplay and she played a shot from outside the teeing ground. I told her to replay the shot but she gave me the bird and ironically then made birdie to win the hole. What is the ruling?

Good one Harry, your bitch was wrong and not only for flicking you the bird. In matchplay, Rule 11-4 says that you could have made her play another tee shot. But you have to do it immediately. In Strokeplay, you have to hit another tee shot before you tee off from the next hole or you’re disqualified! Know the rules Harry and you might have been a winner!

Golf Ball Overhanging Hole Video Transcript

Hi sweetheart, today Mr. Hugh Jorgan writes: “My mate was putting and his ball overhung the ball. He waited at least 20 seconds before the ball finally fell in. I thought something was up but am I making much ado about nothing?

Well Hugh, rule 16-2 states that you are allowed time to reach your ball from wherever you hit it, and 10 more seconds once you get to your ball. That means your friend was in breach of the rules, and not only should have been penalized one shot, but deserves a good spanking from the Slice girls. Tell your friend to come see us for his punishment!

Jessica Albatross & Stacy Stickler Rules of Golf Video

By popular demand, here are the transcripts from Jessica and Stacy's rule of golf video series. It seems a few of you had trouble understanding what was said so here's the scripts if you feel like reading along. All together now...

Lost Ball Rules of Golf Video
Hi guys, this week Mr. Richard Head asks: “I was playing with a real douche bag and he lost his ball. I found it, but didn’t want to tell him. I wasn’t sure of the rules so I shut up and mosied on off to my ball. Was that legal?

Good question Dick. The answer is no - you don’t have to tell him, but if you have read the rules of golf, you’ll know there’s something called “The Spirit of the Game”. Even if they’re a douche bag like you say, a golfer should always be honest and have integrity so next time you might want to let the cat out of the bag!

Tiger So Good He Doesn't Need To Practice

Steve Williams blew the theory that Tiger Woods is one the hardest workers in the game by announcing "he hasn't hit a practice ball since the British Open". When asked about this shocking revelation Tiger just gave one of his rye smiles and said "hey, there was no need to go". Williams doesn't easily get Tiger Wood as he's been close to Tiger for a long time now but in his latest remarks it's obvious Tiger still gives him a rise - "I've been with him nearly 10 years now, and this is the best I've ever seen him hit the ball". He blew away the field at the Tour Championship and has won his last four tournaments by a combined 20 shots - scaringly similar to his god like performance in 2000. His scoring average for this year is 67.79, the same as in 2000 and he's winning 28% of the time, unheard of on tour. Golf Video star Angelina Bogie has already stopped practicing citing Tigers' latest revelation.

Tiger Delivers Ass Woopin at FedEx Cup

The chosen one has added to his legend and won the FedEx cup by a mere 8 strokes. Tiger shot 4 under on the final round and was never challenged by any of the golfing mortals in the field. The only real moment of drama came on the 9th when the Zach attack was standing over a 30 foot birdie putt. A ball came thundering down from the heavens and landing on the green - it was Woods 2nd shot from 286 yards from the rough. The Zach attack could only watch and laugh in awe and Tiger went quickly to apologise but Zach already had Tiger Wood and was eager to get back to the clubhouse to see the golf video of that shot. Tiger now has 13 majors, 14 of 25 World Golf Championship events and the FedEx Cup. Tiger has to wait until he's 40 to go for a fancy dinner with the winnings but we think he can hold on. The steak will tasted all the better if he waits anyway. Tiger will play the Presidents Cup in a few weeks then take a long break to spend time learning how to change nappies.

Shame on You Woody Austin

Woody Austin is a cheat and The Slice Girls will definitely not be showing him any love in any future golf videos in the future. It's the 15th hole of the 3rd round of the Tour Championship. Woody has a tap in for par and goes to knock it in, his putter gets stuck and then he takes another shot at it. Watching it live we think that's a shot and a clear whiff. Johnny Miller brings it up and after several replays the commentators agree that it's an attempted shot. Bob Murphy asks Woody what he got and he says par, obviously refusing to admit it was a shot. Normally, we'd give the player the benefit of the doubt but this occasion was so blatant that you can't believe that it wasn't an attempt to strike at the ball. Johnny Miller rightly said that it would of been impossible for him to stop his putter so close to the ball. If you have any video of this shot pls send it in so we can prove ourselves right!

Tiger Gets His Groove and Zach Attacks

After shooting an easy little 63 in the 2nd round, Tiger Woods has all but won the Tour Championship after a 3rd round 64. He leads by three over Mark Calcavechia who shot 64. The Zach attach also went low with a chance at shooting 59 on the last before hitting into the bunker on 18. Zach has won twice in Georgia this year including the Masters and AT&T. Scarlett Gotendthepin will have a full golf video roundup this week.

Golf Movie Review - Happy Gilmore

Next up is Happy Gilmore, starring Adam Sandler, who plays an ex-hockey player with a bad temper who discovers he can hit the ball 400 yards with his unique run and smash it style. It’s totally unbelievable, and a bit stupid, but there are some funny scenes including one where Happy and Bob Barker from the Price is Right have a bit of punch up. Again its golf outlaw vs the establishment and Shooter McGavin played by Christopher McDonald does a sweet job of playing the golf snob. There’s a very unnecessary side plot with Happys grandmother, only saved by Ben Stiller making a short appearance as the old peoples home enforcer. You can definitely watch it twice and there’s also a clip or two on the wwwgolfuncut.com website. The shear absurdity is both what makes it funny and prevents it from being any funnier. Now that I’ve confused myself with that last sentence it’s time to watch the next golf movie video.

Golf Video - DVD - Movie - Tin Cup

Our next golf movie is Tin Cup, which stars Kevin “bumface” Costner and Rene Russo, with Cheech Martin and Don Johnson. There’s also a couple of cameo appearances from some PGA tour pros including The Walrus Graig - Stadler and Phil Lardass Mickelson. Tin Cup is about a washed up golf pro who qualifies for the US Open. Kevin Costner does an ok job as Roy McAvoy aka “Tin Cup” and his swing could pass for a Pro’s if you didn’t know much about golf. The best part is the ending, but don’t worry we wont spoil it for you. Many golfers will relate to Tin Cups temper and frustration for the game and the producers did a good job of consulting pro’s and industry experts to make it as realistic as possible. Still, it’s a movie so don’t expect it to be exactly like what happens out on the tour. My rating – one and half thumbs up.

Tiger Goes Whompo at Tour Championship

Tiger Woods went whompo during the 2nd round of the Tour Championship by reeling off 5 birdies and an eagle in a 6 hole stretch starting at the 4th. He began thinking about how The Slice Girls were going to react in their weekly golf video roundup and cooled off the backnine only managing even par. His 7 under par round 63 means he goes into the weekend leading by 3. Woody Austin got Wood and is pretending he has a chance going into the weekend.

The golf game has gained a lot of attention in the realm of gaming industry. The golf galaxy offers a wide range of golfing items with diverse golf shoes and other accessories. The golf carts and the basketball shoes are also available in the sports shops and markets. The baseball shoes are made with great care for the users to avoid any foot injurious and give the users a comfortable experience.

Golf Videos and Golf Movie Reviews

Over the next few weeks we're going to be reviewing some golf videos and golf movies. Lets start with the most famous and most popular - Caddyshack. The most well known golf movie is Caddyshack, starring Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, Rodney Dangerfield and well, a bunch of other noname actors. It’s not everyones cup of tea but most golfers, including Tiger Woods, rate this as their favourite golf movie. It’s got some cheesy, idiotic humor and a few gratuitous breast shots of Lacy Underall, the hottie who is a bit of golf skank. You can check out a couple of scenes from Caddyshack in our miscellaneous golf video section. The movie is now 27 years old, and its classic golf outlaw versus golfs establishment. Some cat on IMDB (the Internet Movie Database for you cave dwellers) went as far to say that Caddyshack is one of the top five funniest movies of all time. He might have been puffing the magic dragon, but it’s definitely the best and funniest golf movie to be mad.

Golflink Blog

Jessica Albatross' golf video blog is back online at golflink.com! They've fixed some minor bugs but they site still seems to be in BETA despite the fact they haven't told anybody! Lets hope they get everything operational within the next few weeks. If you have problems with wwww.golfuncut.com please send us an email. You can check out Jessica Albatross's video blog at http://www.golflink.com/community/blogs/jessicaalbatross

American Vs UK Golf Forums

Two of the biggest golf forums are golfwrx.com from the US and golfmagic.com from the UK. Golfwrx.com seems to be more active but is full of opinionated gits. This doesnt surprise us as almost any forum on the web is full of such people. Without these people the forums wouldnt be a success. However, golfwrx seems to be a little stuck up and well, way too snobby. Golfmagic is loose as a goose and we prefer to post our golf video views on there because of that. We've actually been banned from golfwrx due to a joke that didnt go down so well, and was accused of having foul language (the joke can be viewed in this forum just look for "Dear Abby"). Is it because golfwrx is full or Americans? Well we dont have anything against Americans actually but many people do...but why is golfwrx full of knobs?!

Tiger Gives BMW Wood

Tiger gave BMW Wood by winning the BMW Championship after shooting a course record 63 at Cog Hill. Hopefully this will shut up all those people who think Tiger was a bad boy for choosing to skip the Barclays. These people seem to think Tiger, Phil and Ernie have not done enough for the game and are not supporting the FedEx Cup. To those people The Slice Girls simply say "shut the hell up"! The top players in the world are where they are because they work the hardest and sacrifice the most. To suggest that they are selfish and aren't supporting the cup is absolutely ridiculous and one of the reasons why we write this blog is we can say stuff like this without fear of being banned from golf forums that are full of golfers that have no idea what they're talking about, and well, spend too much time in the golf forum instead of learning how to play the game!

There, we got that off our chest!

Tiger On Verge of Another 100 mill payday

The great one announced today that he was close to signing a contract with sports drink Gatorade. Tiger was a little short on cash after his American Express contract was not extended (but ended "amicably"), bringing on a little dizzy spell, which then prompted a Gatorade rep to quickly hand Tiger a Grape Gatorade which apparently made him a little hyper. The deal is expected to be officially announced some time this week, probably after the end of the BMW Championship where Tiger is one of the lead entering the final round. One of The Slice Girls will have a full golf video report if Tiger happens to storm to victory.

Golf Video Central - Golfuncut.com is upgrading it's Swing Pervert video upload system which means you'll be able to upload your golf swing video faster and easier than ever before. The system went offline a few weeks ago and is expected to be back online for public beta testing by the end of September. If you have golf swing video clips you'd like to have analyzed by The Slice Girls then just send them into action@golfuncut.com and we'll convert them for you. Swing Pervert is the webs first video upload system that allows golfers to have their swing analysed by The Slice Girls - the webs finest golf presenters.

Phil Takes Down Tiger

Phil finally got the better of Tiger to win the Deutsche Bank on Monday, but still couldn't help getting Tier Wood during the press conference. PGAtour.com has some video highlights of their battle. Phil was so spent after his encounter with Tiger that he's decided enuffs enuff and is taking the next event in the Fedexcup off. Tiger didn't have much to say except our roaving Slice Girl Halle Birdie swore she saw Phil poking out his tongue and making a "na,na, na-na-na" gesture behind the scoring tent.

Slice Girls in Production

The moment you have been waiting for is almost here. The Slice Girls are currently filming their next series of golf videos. Opening weekend is expected to be absolutely whompo and these golf videos will blow previous ones right out the water hazard. Don't forget that if you would like to see a particular Slice Girl video then just let us know. No funny ideas though - we know what you're thinking! Golf instruction video site golflink was down this morning - they seem to be having teething problems and a number of technical issues, which we poo poo. Oh well, stay tuned for the biggest Slice Girl extravaganza in 2007.

Golf Forums - Golfwrx.com

This is the first in a series of blogs on the best golf forums on the web. We start with golfwrx.com, which is partner site to golfworld and Golf Digest. There are over 33,000 members on golfwrx.com making it, but our counts, one of the top five golf forums on the Internet. It's definitely one of the most active forums and the golf equipment forum has almost 20,000 posts. Slice Girl golf video presenter and web hottie Jessica Albatross was temporarily banned for posting a golf joke which seemed to be quite misunderstood and after some flirting with the moderators Jessica managed to get her account status back, so all credit to the boys over at www.golfwrx.com for being understanding and having Jessica on there. You won't find a single golf video on there, but if you want to voice your opinion on anything golf related, golfwrx.com is a good place to start.

Its Sunday we're off to church to pray to the golf gods and be thankful for the golf gods allowing us to be golf video presenters.
